This Saturday night concert & party, part of the Oslo Caribbean Festival, will take you to the Lusophone genders, with local artist Ary Morais and his marvellous band. We promise that your body will move by its own to these rhythms!There will also be 3 parallel dance floors to give you a great variety of music to dance to.

Ary will release his fifth album Cruzando Fronteiras in the summer of 2023. Cruzando fronteiras is a world music album that consists of 8 compositions with Creole, Norwegian and Portuguese lyrics that unite world music in an exciting mix of traditional Cape Verdean music with a Nordic expression.
During the concert, you will be invited on a journey through the most famous Cape Verdean musical styles such as morna, coladeira, mazurca etc.
Ary Morais & Band consists of 5 band members with renowned musicians from Oslo, formed at the end of 2016 and the main goal is to be a very active band for the local community in Norway and internationally.
