We spend our lives caring for others often forgetting to pause for ourselves. But the peace we seek has always been within us—we just need a moment to reconnect.

Arush is that moment. An intimate storytelling performance that brings alive the unnoticed stories of everyday people—individuals with small but profound desires much like our own.

Told in contemporary Gujarati through an anthology of four original stories and short write-ups Arush blends narration music and songs into a deeply immersive experience. It is more than just storytelling—it is a mirror a sigh of relief and a journey back to yourself.

About Performer/ Storyteller - Harsh Dharaiya

Harsh is a storyteller, writer, and theatre practitioner. He began his creative journey in 2015, exploring various artistic fields. Previously, he worked as a radio jockey for a web radio platform promoting Gujarati literature and music. He has created Generations of Ashtanayika—an adaptation from the Natyashastra— and Arush with Angikam Academy. On stage, Harsh has performed in Meanwhile Elsewhere, Macbeth, and Conference of the Birds with Darpana Foundation. Additionally, he has played lead roles in full-length plays, one-act plays, street performances, and documentaries with Theatre Media Centre.
