Capoeira Aruanda is thrilled to announce its end-of-year celebration packed with axé. The event will include mini workshops prior to the Roda, offering participants a fun and engaging way to learn about Brazilian culture. Non-Aruanda students can attend the workshops and Roda for $35. Please remember to bring water and snacks, and students are welcome to share a plate of food.
The festivities will take place at 34-40 Burton Street, Darlinghurst.
The schedule includes workshops on Maculele, samba de roda, and puxada de rede led by Mestre Borracha: Maculelê at 10am, puxada de rede at 10:45am, samba de roda at 11:15am, followed by a break at 11:45am.
The Roda begins at 12noon and the event concludes at 1:20pm.
