At this special celebration, ArtWorks 2025 Environmental Arts interns will be presenting a gallery style showcase of their slow fashion creations, an exclusive nature themed fashion show, and a clothing swap for all guests to "shop" from!

CLOTHING SWAP DETAILS
We are accepting gently used, clean clothing for the ArtWorks Creative Professional Clothing Swap.
A clothing swap is a free community event where participants bring items they no longer wear and exchange them for “new-to-you” pieces brought by others. There is no cost to participate! Clothing swaps are an eco-friendly way to refresh your wardrobe—keeping clothing out of landfills, reducing waste, and giving garments a second life.
Items NOT Accepted:
- Swimwear, socks, underwear, or bras
- Clothing with stains or holes, or unclean items
- Non-clothing items
Accepted Items: “Creative Professional” themed clothing is encouraged, such as:
- Tops/shirts
- Coats/jackets
- Pants, jeans, skirts, dresses
- Shoes, bags, accessories
---> Optional Pre-Event Drop-Off: Saturday, October 11th, 11am–1pm in the front lobby of 4201 N 27th St, Milwaukee, WI 53216
Limit: 15 items per person
Items should arrive folded in reusable or disposable bags, or on hangers (only if you’re willing to donate the hangers as well).
---> Day of the Swap (Saturday, October 18th): The swap shopping starts right at 11:30am! Bring a reusable bag to carry home your new-to-you finds. Disposable bags will also be available. Swap donations are also accepted day of, but please plan to arrive before noon.

- Slow fashion tips, like how to thirft better
- Program completion ceremony, with staff and intern speeches
- An intern led slow fashion show
- Snacks and beverages for all to enjoy
- ArtWorks merchandise available for purchase
