This year marks 31 years for ArtWorks at the Cultural Activities Center. Each year the CAC dedicates over 9500 sq. ft. Of gallery wall space to support the young artist in our community. Partnering with local school districts, private schools, and the home school community to gather the works, each student gets their own moment to shine as their work is exhibited on the CAC walls. 1000’s of students will have their work on exhibit.
The community is invited to the opening reception March 20th from 5- 7 PM. Ribbon cutting is at 5:20 PM with guest ribbon cutters representing the different schools. The reception will go till 7 PM on that evening. This exhibit will be up until April 25, 2025 and we encourage the whole community to come out, celebrate young artist, and experience the exhibit.
Normal gallery hours are open 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM weekdays. The galleries are also open later for special events, meetings and classes. For more information about scheduling a tour or exhibiting work at the CAC please contact Kandice Harris at [email protected] or call 254-773-9926.
