Visitors are invited to use the set of International Ocean Station and its figurines to film and contribute their stories of how daily life in a future ocean city could be. Facilitated by members of the Kristang community, learn, imagine and share how different ways of life contribute to a collective future.
❓Who is the Kristang community?
The Kristang, also called Serani or Portuguese-Eurasians, are a community that emerged from marriages between Portuguese settlers and local Malays in colonial Melaka. Today, there are about 37,000 Kristang worldwide, with 12,000 in Singapore, and the community is actively working to preserve their unique culture and language.
