WELCOME BACK, to Art+Science+Community Nights!!!
We are SO happy to once again have generous funding from ODFW Marine so we can hold these amazing community events again! Our 2023 series was such a hit, and we are so excited to be able to get this program back up and running for the new year!
We are kicking off the 2025 series with another mosaics class with esteemed Mosaic and Glass Artist, Joanne Daschel!
The event will take place in room 3 at the Yachats Commons, and will be a rolling class, so guests can come and go as they please. To keep the group relatively small for the instructors, we are breaking up registration into 3 one hour segments-
2pm to 3pm, 3pm to 4pm, and 4pm to 5pm.
It's totally ok if you overlap times, but please sign up for the time slot that you'd like to start at.
For this specific class, we will be working together on creating individual creatures for a large art piece that will be hung up at the Cape Perpetua Visitors Center! The theme is land sea connection, so get ready to snip glass and make some sea stars, mussels, kelp, chiton, trees, and much more!
This event is being held in the Yachats Commons, in Yachats. No previous experience or supplies needed, we will provide everything you need to leave with a new art skill, and a brain full of knowledge and inspiration!
