On Saturday, April 27th EBR Schools Fine Arts Department and FTLD Studios will be hosting an open casting call for dancers to audition for “Back to the Bayou”, an inclusive and culturally diverse performing arts showcase transporting the audience around the world to France, India, China, Ghana, and all the way back to the bayou.As part of the Arts for Everybody campaign being held this summer in 18 cities across the country, this initiative aims to show how the arts can lead to healthier people and communities.
Please join us for dance auditions this Saturday, April 27th at the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge (233 Ferdinand St. BR,LA 70802). Dancers are asked to come dressed in ALL Black, with the required dance shoes: Jazz, Ballet, and sneakers for hip hop. Pay close attention to audition times, as they are broken down by age.
Ages 6-9yrs 3pm-4:30pm
Ages 10-12yrs 4:30pm-6:00pm
Ages 13-17yrs 6:00pm-7:30pm
