Singer/songwriter & pianist/guitarist Deb Kline duets with ASL lyrics interpreter Maranda Turner for an evening of original songs, art, and stories that comprise Deb's healing journey of forgetting childhood trauma (as a victim of early childhood incest and teen rape) she remembers in adulthood. Through artistic expression, Deb alchemizes chaos into healing and goes beyond surviving her lived experience to thriving onward.General admission is free thanks to the generous support of the National Endowment for the Arts through the Iowa Arts Council housed within the Department of Iowa Economic Development, the City of Ames Commission on the Arts, and the Ames Community Arts Council. Donations will be accepted with 100% of collections benefitting NAMI Central Iowa in honor of Suicide Prevention Month.
