Arts & The Park, The annual ten-day spring festival celebrating the arts in Hot Springs will take place from April 25th through May 4th, 2025 with indoor, outdoor, in-person, and virtual offerings.Arts & The Park is hosted by the Hot Springs Area Cultural Alliance as part of the organization’s mission to celebrate the arts and culture of the Hot Springs area. 2024 Arts & The Park will include live performances, workshops, children’s events, and exhibitions.
The 2025 Arts & The Park: Artventurous festival will focus on the intersection of art and adventure. Artventurous hopes to highlight the excitement art and creativity bring to our lives.
Check in often as the schedule of events is growing! Some of the highlights of this year’s festival include:
Art Moves Outdoor Art Exhibition - Free and open to the public, the exhibition is installed along the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail, beginning Friday, April 26th. Art Moves: Artventurous consists of carefully selected images of original art. A QR code with links to an artist statement about the work is located adjacent to each piece.
Art Springs - The free 2-day outdoor festival is a juried festival bursting with talented fine artists, artisans, and the Art Springs Stage with a multitude of live performances. Art Springs is held at Hill Wheatley Plaza in downtown historic Hot Springs and is open from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday, April 27th, and Sunday, April 28th, 10 am – 4 pm. The Glover Awards - The fifth annual Glover Awards finals will be held on Sunday, April 27th on the Art Springs Stage. The contest honors the accomplished local songwriter Henry Glover by encouraging budding artists to try their hand at lyricism. Participants are judged on the quality of their songwriting, not musical performance ability. Submissions for this contest will open in mid-March.
Chalk Walk - A Sidewalk Chalk Event – held in the morning on Saturday, April 26th on the sidewalks surrounding Art Springs at Hill Wheatley Plaza.
Gallery Walk – The first Friday of every month from 5-9 p.m. will fall on Friday, May 3. Hot Springs area galleries and participating studio spaces open their doors for Gallery Walk. New exhibits, art events, and opportunities to meet featured artists, continue to make Gallery Walk a must for visitors and residents alike.
Studio Tours - Held on May3-4 the public is invited to view the creative spaces of local artists with self-guided tours of their private studio space.
