.As the Seasons change so do our activities at the PAL Multicultural Centre.The garden is taking a little rest now until the new year. so the women from our weekly garden club (in partnership with Cohiba Productions) have moved indoors to stay warm and are, at present, SEWING!
The Sewing Workshops began in October 2023 and each of the women are creating their own individual story quilts. Once complete, all the quilts will be sewn together to make a group story quilt. The aim is to have the ‘Big’ quilt displayed at the Quilt Festival Birmingham 2024.
The group are learning a whole array of different sewing techniques either by hand or sewing machine, led by expert Joyce Collins.
