About this Event
Some folks just can’t leave their art in a museum and would rather travel around with it or even inside of it! In this workshop we’ll design our own tiny art cars using toys, googly eyes and other fun found objects. Along the way we’ll talk about the phenomenon of art cars and roadside museums and other homegrown exhibits.
This July and August we'll be getting outside to make a host of unconventional and totally cool interactive objects together, from building art cars to making needlepoint graffiti. Workshops are free with all supplies included, but you will need to pre-register. Kids, teens and their adult friends are all encouraged to participate with individual and group projects. Pets welcome, and snacks and drinks will be available if you don't want to bring your own!
