Artist Workshop Mixed Media Textiles with Paige Valente

Join "Louisiana Contemporary," presented by The Helis Foundation, artist Paige Valente in a textile workshop.
Exploring New Orleans’ sense of place and community, participants will create a mixed media textile square inspired by their neighborhood. The project is finalized by adhering the square to a tote bag for “making groceries” or adding the square to a community quilt created with the group.
The workshop includes an artist-led tour of "Louisiana Contemporary," presented by the Helis Foundation.
All workshops are conducted in a friendly and welcoming environment. All materials are provided. All levels are welcomed.
