In addition to her exhibition at in the Charles W. Lamar Studio at Pensacola State College, Rachel Livedalen will be presenting two experimental mixed media monoprint workshops on November 06 & 07, @ 5 - 6pm (Room 1520). These events are free open to the public!
Rachel Livedalen is an Associate Professor of Art at Texas Christian University, in Fort Worth, TX, where she heads the printmaking area. She earned her MFA in Printmaking from the University of lowa, and her BA from the University of Virginia. Livedalen's creative practice explores representations of femininity through the lens of art history and visual culture, and her work has been supported in various residencies. Her artworks can be found within the collections of various museums, and she is represented by Erin Cluley Gallery in Dallas, TX and Ivester Contemporary in Austin, TX.
