Join us on Saturday, March 7th from 1 PM to 2 PM at Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH) for an exhibition walkthrough with artist, Vojislav Radovanović, on his current exhibition, Fables from the Valley in Between. Gain insight into Radovanović’s artistic practice and process.
About the Artist:
Vojislav Radovanović is a Yugoslav-born, Serbian artist based in Palmdale, California. Heavily influenced by the turbulent political unrest and war in the former Yugoslav region during his youth, Vojislav Radovanović’s multimedia work explores LGBTQ+ identity, mental health, and environmentalism. Radovanović holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Arts in Belgrade. His work has been exhibited in institutions such as the Torrance Art Museum, the Lancaster Museum of Art and History, and the Bakersfield Museum of Art, among others. In addition to his studio practice, Radovanović has curated numerous exhibitions across the U.S. and Europe. He is the co-founder of L.A. Art Documents, an online video archive dedicated to showcasing the contemporary art scene in Los Angeles and beyond.
