Description:
‘I believe in seeking in life’, Baizura felt that it is something she does both inwardly and outwardly with loved ones and herself. As she grapples with mental health, everyday challenges can stem from internal struggles of processing pain and trauma with a mind constantly healing and learning from the suffering, and experiencing fleeting joy within herself through personal growth and interacting with others in the world. In this series of artworks, she invites audience to immerse and seek meanings of mental health in her world of colors, where darkness and light meet, traverse, overlap and co-exist.
