'Stuffed, Bolstered and Upholstered'

Aligning with the theme for the Indian Ocean Craft Triennial IOTA24: ‘Codes in Parallel’, this exhibition investigates systems of power as they are enacted upon bodies.
Utilising a broad definition of fibre and textiles, contemporary
makers fuse traditions of old with a modern edge to create pieces that critique power dynamics.
'Stuffed, Bolstered and Upholstered' is a major showing of textile works from CCWA, UWAAC, Berndt with loans and commissions for new works.
