Come hear exhibiting artist and photographer, Mark Albertin, talk about his exhibit "Along the Fall Line" on Tuesday, September 24th at 6:00pm in the Brown Pavilion. Free, please RSVP by calling 803-641-9094.“Along the Fall Line,” represents in black and white photography, the regions known as Piedmont, Coastal Plain, and Fall Line. It captures the natural elements that make this area unique in habitat and diversity of species. But, also the factors that make this place home to so many; the architecture and the people. Through this medium, black-and-white film photography, Mark Albertin has created a view not normally seen. A view consisting of gray tones and details printed on silver gelatin photo paper within a darkroom using a tedious and very time-consuming format. This art form is seldom seen today, but it is hoped the results will last well into the future.
