Kelley Pettibone's art will be featured at AGB in May, June and July, and on May 31 she will give a talk about her work, methods and motivation. Event is free to the public, drinks will be available at the bar. "In the Mourning I Rise" is a visual documentation of the emotional flux of grief.Kelley Pettibone, a South Carolina native, lives in the Lake Murray area of Columbia. She gained her MFA, with concentration in Printmaking, at the University of South Carolina in 2023 (BFA, with concentration in drawing, at the University of South Carolina in 2020). She is an alumna of Irmo High School, Class of 1992. Kelley is a Studio Art Instructor of Printmaking and Drawing for the School of Visual Art and Design at the University of South Carolina. Most recent exhibitions of her work include a group SVAD Faculty exhibition at Stormwater Studios, Hiraeth, an Artist in Residence solo exhibition at Stormwater Studios, Dwell, a solo exhibition at McMaster Gallery, and Coffee House, a group exhibition during Columbia’s annual Vista Lights.
