Please join us in the gallery for an artist talk with Jordan Scott on Saturday, April 12th. He will be discussing his studio practice and the new body of work in his solo exhibition, Connections. The talk with begin promptly at 1PM.
ABOUT
Jordan Scott’s geometric abstractions repurpose used postage stamps, transforming them into meditative designs, inspired by mandalas, that reflect the interconnectedness of humanity and ideas of the collective unconscious. Each piece weaves stamps into intricate patterns, symbolizing the invisible webs of connection and communication, and evoking the unknown stories behind each original correspondence.
