South Florida art is on the move. Miami-born artist Typoe Gran sits down with Curator Kelli Bodle and moderator Ross Karlan to chart where the region has been, where it is now, and where it might go next. Expect a candid conversation about how collectors help shape that story.
Typoe brings a public-art lens to the evening. His practice spans painting, sculpture, murals, and large-scale installations, with recent projects ranging from a color-saturated sculpture garden on The Underline to a new mural for the Arsht Center’s Carnival Tower. He often riffs on the history of children’s building blocks as a way to talk about play, growth, and memory.
A preview of what could be next for the Boca Raton Museum of Art closes the night. Typoe and Bodle will share a concept for a new sculpture at the Museum entrance, followed by a champagne toast.
