Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking Artist Talk with Lakeem Wilson, creator of Life in Black Ink. This special evening offers an opportunity to hear directly from the artist about the inspiration, process, and meaning behind the work featured in the exhibition.

Wilson will discuss how black ink serves as both a medium and a metaphor in his practice, and how his artwork explores themes of Black life, identity, cultural memory, and lived experience. Attendees will gain deeper insight into the stories, symbols, and intentions that shape each piece, followed by an open discussion and audience Q&A.
