"The Art of Cultivating" Artist Talk will feature the fascinating story of Diane Cordeau and Carl Frost, former sailors who voyaged the Southern Pacific Islands and now owners of the beloved Kai-Kai Farm in Indiantown. From navigating the seas to nurturing land and culture, they represent the ultimate cultivators. Despite language barriers, they built trust and friendship, collecting remarkable relics that symbolize the cultures, artistry and traditions they encountered during their journey on open waters.This special talk offers a rare glimpse into their adventures, collected artifacts, and the artistic processes and histories of distant cultures.
