About this Event
Description of Show
Boston-based artists Linda Huey and John S. Dykes have collaborated on the creation of the body of work that culminates in a vibrant exhibit. Ceramicist Linda Huey has produced a range of ceramic pots, plates, and vases. Painter and illustrator John S. Dykes has then responded to the works by painting whimsical and slightly irreverent detailed designs.
The artists set out to explore what creative discoveries might be found by responding to each other’s work. By exhibiting alongside their respective solo works, the show promises to provide an interesting take on how artistic ideas can grow and change by combining efforts.
Linda and John will share their experiences of this imaginative journey with a gallery talk on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 5:00 - 6:00 PM. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Exhibition runs from Friday, August 11, 2023 thru Sunday, September 17, 20
