Artist Talk

Join us for an engaging artist talk featuring artist Nika Neelova and Nirmal Rajah, Natural Historian along with Veronika Berezina, the founder of NIKA Project Space. They will explore deep time and archeology, highlighting how intuition and visual cues can foster new knowledge.

Nika's captivating sculptures, crafted from diverse materials like glass, clay, and fossilized shark teeth. Through her work, Nika narrates a story of transformation and decay, inviting viewers to reflect on the passage of time.

Nirmal Rajah, an archaeologist who led a significant fossil expedition in Tamil Nadu in 2015, will offer insights from his experiences. His unique fossil collection creating a rich dialogue with Nika's sculptures at the exhibition 'Beghost' at NIKA Project Space, Dubai.

Veronika Berezina is the founder of NIKA Project Space, a UAE and Paris-based gallery that fosters the artistic inquiry of emerging and established artists and curators. Committed to providing a space for discourse and critical engagement, Berezina opened the doors to NIKA Project Space in Dubai in March 2023 and NIKA Project Space Paris in September 2024 and has since worked in tandem with international practitioners, with a focus on artists and curators from the Global South.
