About this Event
Ever had to write an artist statement for an application or a submission, and not been sure about where to start? Or, do you have one that needs a refresher? This is a great place to start and we’re happy to help. Join us for a worksession on how to write an artist statement, what you’ll use it for, how it differs from a bio and more. Participants will take time to write elements of their statement in the workshop and have an opportunity for feedback as well.
*Participants should plan to bring their current artist statement and any supporting material they might need to reference, as well as a laptop, iPad, or good old pen and paper.
