About this Event
About the Event: Join us for a Q&A with Valerie Cymes about her latest collage exhibition, where she explores the beauty of patchwork in her unique mixed-media pieces. Drawing inspiration from the rich history of fabric, yarn, and paper, Cymes' work invites viewers to experience the delicate balance between abstraction and representation. Her creative process, marked by the cutting, tearing, and layering of materials, reflects her journey of deconstructing and reconstructing emotions and experiences. This exhibition highlights the beauty of imperfection and the power of storytelling through seemingly disparate elements coming together. Don't miss the chance to experience her vibrant, thought-provoking collages that invite deeper reflection and appreciation for the art of assemblage.
