New to Bachman’s! Join and experience the thrill of handcrafting your very own coil pot with our friends at Dame Errant pottery! No experience is needed as their skilled instructors will guide you through the process, step by step. Using the time-honored technique of pottery, you'll shape and mold your clay into a beautiful and functional coil pot. Bachman’s greenhouse space provides the perfect setting to let your creativity flow while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee from Patrick’s Café and Bakery. Plus you’ll get to pick out a new plant friend for your new pot!
Once your coil pot is complete, choose your glaze option and leave it with Dame Errant to fire. After a few weeks, you can pick up your beautifully finished piece at their studio in Minneapolis. (Firing standardly takes 2-3 weeks. Work will be held 8 weeks from the date of the workshop.)
This workshop is suitable for ages 14 to 100, and minors must be accompanied by a participating adult. Please note that Coil Pots can be tricky with long nails.
