SPUD AND THE SNAKESKINNERS--
The Snakeskinners play fiddle tunes and songs from around the Celtic world as well as Caribbean and European. Featuring George Penk on fiddle, Sandy Bradley on guitar, Spud Siegel on mando and vocals and Mick Doherty on hammered dulcimer and voice.

Sandy Bradley is a musician and visual artist as well as a celebrated dance caller and radio host. She’s toured the world as a musician and dance troupe director, and has played with many of the great traditional musicians of the last 50 years. From the early 1980s to the mid 1990’s she hosted the Potluck program for NPR’s Seattle station. Sandy currently designs and crafts tiles in her studio at Nahcotta Tileworks: https://potluck.com/tile/patterns/
Mick Doherty specializes in the hammer dulcimer, which he’s been playing for 40 years. He’s toured from from Paris to Pyongyang (that was weird!) as a solo artist and ensemble member. He organizes an annual festival for students, the Hammer Dulcimer Rendezvous, each May in Sandy, Oregon. http://nwdulcimer.com
George Penk is known as one of the premiere folk dance fiddlers in the country, and has traveled in the US, Canada and Europe to the delight of dancers everywhere. George is the featured fiddler on the two albums produced as “The Portland Selection.” https://www.theportlandcollection.com/cds/
Spud Siegel has traveled the world with his mandolin, performing on concert stages and in public houses, and sometimes sailing from island to island in the Caribbean. As well as being a mandolin wizard, Spud also plays a number of other plectrum instruments as well as trumpet and keyboards. Spud has recorded with a number of artists and has several albums under his own name.
