Arthur’s Seat and Holyrood Park
Experience a fairly big hill in the City of Edinburgh. From Waverley Station we will walk down to Scottish Parliament. From here we will cross the road and head up the Salisbury Crags, good views of the City can be seen at the top. The walk will then descend down a little where on the right we can climb Crow Hill. From here we will descend a little before climbing again to Arthur’s Seat. At the top is a trig point where panoramic views of the city and along the coast to the Bass Rock can be observed. We will then descend eastwards to soon pick up a path with a metal chain railing. On the way down we will take a path to the right to observe St Anthony’s Chapel and then retrace our steps back to the path and down towards St Margaret’s Loch at this point we can have observe the birds while we have a snack/lunch and a drink.
