The City of Monroe is preparing to kick off the state-of-the-art expansion of the Arthur Lesow Community Center (ALCC). The $9.3 million project will house the new Lillian Steward Navarre Branch Library, provide a new home for the Learning Bank and be a shared space with the Opportunity Center. Along with the expansion, the new, 28,000-square-foot facility will offer a diverse array of opportunities for visitors that include:

🔹 Spaces to harness creativity, inspire entrepreneurism and maximize flexibility
🔹 A significantly larger indoor and outdoor space for increased programs and services offered by the Navarre Library, Opportunity Center and Learning Bank
🔹 Expanded programming and activities including media studios and community incubation spaces
🔹 Youth activity area
🔹 Reading terrace
