The life of Smallthorne-born painter, poet, playwright and pub raconteur Arthur Berry has been fully celebrated through the Berry 100 programme of events this year.
Join Mervyn for a review of what you may have seen or missed, as he discusses Berry’s early life in Biddulph and some of the landmarks he knew. Also mentioned will be Arthur’s final play, Whatever Happened To Phoebe Salt which was staged by the New Victoria Theatre in the summer.
