Kids and families are invited to join Playful Engineers for a STEM-themed maker-skills workshop! Playful engineers brings their traveling maker space, including all the materials for everyone to build their own artful mechanisms. Maker/teaching artist Jay Mankita will demonstrate his own kinetic art made from popsicle sticks, brass fasteners, cardboard, paperclips, dowels, pencils, and other common materials, after which participants construct mechanisms of their own to take home.
