About this Event
Following an engaging discussion on a seasonal topic, guests are invited to enjoy refreshments and conversation during a relaxed social hour among others who value thoughtful travel.
Co-hosted by Dr. Lisa Belisle, physician and voice of Radio Maine, with a special guest, the series focuses on memorable experiences from the Arctic Circle to the South Pacific.
Brought to you by the Portland Art Gallery, our second Artful Escapes symposium invites us to celebrate the changing season. As winter nears and days grow quieter, we turn our attention to islands—some serene, some surprisingly lively. How do choices of place, pace, and thoughtful design shape what we notice and remember?
Open to the Public with Limited Seating
The places we stay can change how we experience a city or coastline, and influence the stories we bring home. Lisa and her guest will share perspectives, then welcome yours in the social hour that follows the dialogue.
Space is limited.
Next in the series: A Walk on the Wilder Side--Where a hearty stroll can lead to breathtaking beauty.
