SLAY or, School Lunches and Assistance Year-round, was created by Alexander Clark as an answer to student lunch debt. Before the ‘23/‘24 school year kicked off Alex had an idea to raise some money to pay off a portion of the school lunch debt. A post on Facebook went viral and he ended up bringing in over $13,000 in about 72 hours. Since then, SLAY has been raising funds and paying off student lunch debt for the entire school year.
