AliA zette haar eerste stappen in de Leuvense clubscene, maar speelde intussen Horst, Dekmantel, Dour, Lowlands en De School plat. Met een knapzak vol house, garage, breakbeats en jungle brengt ze eclectische, maar coherente sets. Naast dj is ze ook oprichter van Artisjok Records, een label dat focust op groove- en ritmegebaseerde muziek van opkomende artiesten. Op vraag van STUK cureert AliA een avond in STUKcafé, met dj-sets en liveshows van artiesten die gelinkt zijn aan Artisjok Records.
De clubnacht in STUKcafé opent met de Leuvense drummer Moene, die zijn nieuwe EP op Artisjok voor het eerst laat horen. Daarnaast gaat ook zijn documentaire kortfilm, die zijn persoonlijke verhaal vertelt, in première.
Na de filmpremière en EP-release van Moene stelt KVR hun tweede album Spam Vol. 2 voor. KVR is het muzikale liefdeskind van bassist Dries Laheye (STUFF., Selah Sue), drummer Lander Gyselinck (STUFF., Lander & Adriaan, BeraadGeslagen) en synth-tovenaar Niels Broos (Jameszoo, Binkbeats). Jungle-ritmes, elastische tijd, open structuren en organische texturen komen samen in een levendig geluid dat speels, rusteloos en diep intuïtief aanvoelt.
Na middernacht drijven de dj’s het tempo op: eerst is het aan de Italiaanse producer en Artisjok-getrouwe XL Regular om zijn sonische muur van house, broken beats en techno door het soundsystem te blazen; vervolgens brengt de curator van de avond zelf, AliA, een dj-set; en afsluiten doet het toch wel legendarische Belgische drum-and-bass duo The Untouchables, die sinds het begin van het millennium de dubby en diepe kant van breakbeats verkennen.

AliA took her first steps in the Leuven club scene but has since played standout sets at Horst, Dekmantel, Dour, Lowlands and De School. Armed with a backpack full of house, garage, breakbeats, and jungle, she delivers eclectic yet coherent sets. In addition to being a DJ, she’s also the founder of Artisjok Records, a label focused on groove- and rhythm-driven music by emerging artists. At STUK’s invitation, AliA curates an evening at STUKcafé, featuring DJ sets and live shows by artists connected to Artisjok Records.
The club night at STUKcafé will kick off with the Leuven drummer Moene, who will present his new EP on Artisjok for the first time. Also premiering: his documentary short film, which tells his personal story.
Following Moene, KVR will present their second album, Spam Vol. 2. Consisting of bassist Dries Laheye (STUFF., Selah Sue), drummer Lander Gyselinck (STUFF., Lander & Adriaan, BeraadGeslagen) and synth wizard Niels Broos (Jameszoo, Binkbeats), KVR is the musical love child of these three musicians. Jungle rhythms, elastic time, open structures and organic textures come together in a lively sound that feels playful, restless and deeply intuitive.
After midnight, the DJs will pick up the pace. First up is Italian producer and Artisjok resident XL Regular, who will blast a sonic wall of house, broken beats and techno through the sound system. Next is the evening's curator, AliA, with a DJ set. Closing the night will be the legendary Belgian drum and bass duo The Untouchables, who have been exploring the dubby and deep side of breakbeats since the beginning of the millennium.

schntzl is het liefdeskind van pianist Hendrik Lasure en drummer Casper Van De Velde. Als sleutelfiguren in de Belgische jazzscene lappen ze alle regels van de jazz aan hun laars door bruggen te slaan naar smeuïge new age, extatische trance en rusteloze elektronica. Tegelijk lieflijk en bombastisch, virtuoos en knullig, nostalgisch en futuristisch: schntzl zit vol muzikale tegenstrijdigheden. Hun nieuwe album Fata Morgana verschijnt in februari 2026 bij VIERNULVIER Records. Het duo stelt het album voor het eerst live voor in STUK, in samenwerking met de Leuvense scenografie- en lichtkunstenaar Stan Vrebos.
Praktisch: Dit concert is zittend. Er is geen drank toegelaten in de Soetezaal. De andere concerten in STUKcafé zijn staand en mét bar.

schntzl is the love child of pianist Hendrik Lasure and drummer Casper Van De Velde. Being As key figures in the Belgian jazz scene, they defy all the rules of jazz by building bridges to juicy new age, ecstatic trance, and restless electronica. At the same time tender and bombastic, virtuoso and clumsy, nostalgic and futuristic: schntzl is full of musical contradictions. Their new album Fata Morgana will be released in February 2026 on VIERNULVIER Records. The duo will present the album live for the first time at STUK, in collaboration with Leuven-based scenographer and light artist Stan Vrebos.
Practical info: This concert is seated. No drinks allowed in the Soetezaal. The other concerts at STUKcafé are standing and include a bar.
