In the context of , the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art and The Generations Project present a collection of stories from a group of Latinx storytellers of all ages and LGBTQ+ identities, working across all art forms. Together, these storytellers share their experiences and perspectives on their artform, queerness and the intersections of their identities with their creative practices. The event will be hosted by singing drag chanteuse, Castrata!

The Generations Project is a place for LGBTQ+ to meet and connect across all generations and backgrounds, to share and preserve our history and tell our stories in our own voices. By revitalizing the oral tradition, we create opportunities for in-person gathering and community-building, ensure the handing down of LGBTQ+ experiences to future generations and uplift marginalized voices.

The show will offer captioned translations in English and Spanish. Located at 26 Wooster Street, the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art strives to provide a welcoming environment to all visitors. Five external steps lead to our entrance doors: a wheelchair lift is available. All galleries are wheelchair-accessible, and a single-occupancy accessible restroom is located behind the visitor services desk: all restrooms are gender-neutral. Large print didactics are available.
