We’ve done a lot of reflecting and have listened to community feedback - deciding that Artbeat 2025 will be a MONTH-LONG celebration of all things arts, culture, and heritage across Whangārei - designed to elevate, celebrate and activate local arts spaces, showcase the work of arts organisations, and increase community participation and engagement in arts, culture and heritage.
During the month Creative Northland will still host our usual “ArtBeat” carnival day on Saturday 12th April (first weekend of School Holidays)
"A vibrant event at the Whangarei Town Basin with an Arts Carnival featuring a treasure trove of unique, locally made art from talented Northland artists, Free arts activities including pottery, painting, drawing, and other creative pursuits, Live Music and Street Performances"
