Build a JunkBot JunkGirls Style!<h4>Taught by JunkGirl Jenny</h4>
Join us for a new workshop in Hotel San Luis Obispo's ArtBar @ Piadina series! In this workshop, you'll create your own unique robot, a JunkBot, using found objects (aka junk!). The JunkBots are always a hit with our customers, and we're excited to guide you through making your own. Under the guidance of JunkGirl Jenny, each participant will begin with wood blocks for the head and body, rubber stoppers for the legs, and a red base for the JunkBot to stand on. You'll then get creative, learning how to use screws, glues, and various materials to assemble and customize your JunkBot. You'll even have the chance to name your creation and attach a brass disk stamped by JunkGirl Melissa.
During the workshop, you'll work with a variety of materials, including clock gears, bulbs, washers, nuts, screws, bolts, fuses, keys, and more to add unique features to your JunkBot. No prior experience is necessary, as Jenny and her team will assist you every step of the way. All supplies are included, so just come ready to have some fun!
The workshop is approximately 2.5 hours long, providing plenty of time for you to craft your one-of-a-kind creation. Valet parking is included in the ticket price. Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase through Piadina.
