ART YOU CAN EAT (BUT YOU CAN'T ACTUALLY EAT IT!)Get ready for a deliciously fun art-making experience with no ovens, no utensils, and definitely no bites. In this playful hands-on workshop, led by artist and educator Erin Perry, young artists will explore the world of food-inspired art, creating colourful, imaginative treats that look good enough to eat but are made entirely from art materials!
From sculpted sushi and glittery cupcakes to giant candy collages and faux sundaes, this session is packed with creative projects that celebrate colour, texture, and whimsy. Kids will experiment with materials like clay, tissue paper, modelling paste, foam, beads, and more as they build their own inedible masterpieces.
Whether designing a full mini menu, inventing a new snack brand, or making a still life of pretend food, participants will leave with unique artwork and big smiles. It's all about imagination, mess-making, and the joy of playful creativity.
Come hungry to make art that looks good enough to eat!
