A few years ago, we Meital and Moran, moved to Bulgaria.And not long after the move,
we discovered that beneath all the beauty, calm,
and breathtaking nature,
there was a feeling we couldn’t ignore:
longing and loneliness.
All we wanted was to find a space for peace,
connection, and a deep breath.
We searched for a women’s space that combines
gentle movement, personal growth,
and that would be held in English.
A space to simply be.
To move. To breathe. To reconnect.
But we couldn’t find one.
So we created it.
Balkan Balance was born from that exact need,
ours and that of other women we met along the way.
Because finding balance between body and mind
is a daily challenge, especially when you're far from what’s familiar,
navigating a new life, often holding everything together.
This retreat is a collection of the experiences
that help us return to that balance,
gathered with care, offered with intention,
and held to a high professional and emotional standard.
And this is your invitation:
To pause.
To feel.
To open.
To meet brave, inspiring, grounded women, just like you.
It takes place at Dance and Food Factory,
in the heart of Bulgaria’s Rhodope Mountains,
a space filled with nourishing local food,
embracing nature, and a quiet energy that
words can't quite capture.
