Join us for a one-day exclusive dry point printmaking workshop for adults where you’ll learn how to create Rembrandt-inspired art prints, guided by Terri Thoman, artist and owner of Paper Arts in Deep Ellum. The workshop includes a curator-led private tour of Nature and Artifice: Works on Paper from Dürer to Rembrandt and a catered lunch. All skill levels are welcome! In this workshop, you will learn about traditional printmaking techniques and create and take home your own prints. Using an intaglio dry point technique, Thoman will teach you how to create a series of prints.
All necessary materials are included. Participants may borrow a DMA studio apron to wear during class; however, because ink can get messy, we recommend planning your outfit accordingly.
This workshop includes a delectable boxed lunch from the DMA Cafe!
This event is for ages 16 and up. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
