Join us at the Newmarket Public Library for a relaxing, hands-on art experience inspired by the powerful and meditative works of Mark Rothko—a pioneer of color field painting and one of the most influential figures in Abstract Expressionism.
🟥 Known for his large-scale canvases filled with glowing rectangles of color, Rothko believed art should evoke deep emotional responses. In this workshop, you’ll explore his unique approach to color, layering, and composition using acrylics on canvas.
