We are thrilled to invite you all to our group show with the latin theme "Memento Mori/Memento Vivere" (Remember we will die, Remember to live) where many of our in house artists will create works that revolve around mortality. We are also proud to show new works by R. Benton Brown that include oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings that study the image of the human skull in contrast with flowers, color and a multitude of tiny brush strokes. Janie Olsen will have three new paintings featuring black cats and a kaleidoscope of symbols. Ellie Hoffman was inspired to create a golden infused painting of youth to maturity. Christina Germaine will unveil a stoneware mask inspired by the image of Frida Kahlo. Oliver Hyde will be showing new originals featuring moths. Breia of Bloomes Leather Goods will be creating her handmade leather bags with memento mori inspiration, Lita Gonzales is creating a few new spooky originals and prints. Carla Davis will be painting and sharing new cards. Signed copies of 13 Morbid Tales by local author Devon Miller-Merza. Andrea Savar will be adding clothing, jewelry and paintings also inspired by the theme! Many of our other artists will most likely join in with new work and we have also curated a collection of books, candles, bookmarks and more delighting in remembering to live life well knowing we all have a date with death. *Pictured Art by R.
