About this Event
The Remington Contemporary Art Gallery (RCAG) is one of the world’s most ambitious public art initiatives, driven by the passion to infuse culture within the Downtown Markham community. Here, art has been cleverly integrated into traditionally lifeless spaces, including parking garages, common areas and building facades. We are so thrilled to be part of the Downtown Markham community with our newest campus open in September 2024 at the iconic YSpace and we are embracing the opportunity to connect our students with the incredible artwork. Dr. Ryan Fics and Dr. Cassandra Chapman will be hosting a one hour walk for students Grade 4+ through the various original artworks in Downtown Markham. Meeting place: Nick Walker Polychromatic Beams (169 Enterprise Boulevard, inside). Dr. Cassandra and Dr. Ryan will be wearing their Brain Power t-shirts!
Pick up spot: Pride of Canada Carousel, 8080 Birchmount Road! Note kids can stay and ride the Carousel if they wish!
