About the artist:
Ellie Ellison is an illustrator that has originated from Las Vegas, NV, but is currently based in Gainesville, FL. Through acrylics, charcoal, and plaster, she combines personal allegorical visuals of loss with symbols of beautiful hope to reflect on personal internal struggles and evolution. Painting these opposing mentalities allows her to visualize the epilogue of living and how memory and the beauty of life choose to persist. She illustrates these ideas to connect with those who have experienced loss and relate to their grieving process.
