These camp programs are designed for elementary children aged 5 - 11 years old. Each camp session will occur over three days, from 9 - 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Registration for each camp is $20 per session.'Fused Glass and Art Journaling' camp with Lucy O'Brien and Brooke Felger (August 6 - August 8) - Create a fused glass wind-chime and learn ways to journal with words, drawings, and paintings.
'The Art of Plants' camp with Andrea Stork and Claudette Reid (August 13 - August 15) - The Art of Plants camp will incorporate plants in several different art projects, culminating in building a terrarium. This project will explore the science of open and closed eco-systems and the beauty of assembling plants into a mini landscape.
'Stop Motion Animation' camp with Lori Cargill from Mason County 4-H (August 20 - August 22) - Students will learn about stop motion, set up an animation studio, and work in teams to create storyboards. They'll learn how to use a stop motion app on an iPad and craft animation characters using clay, cotton balls, and candy. In addition, they'll experiment with Lego animation and create a torn paper animation based on a local theme.
'Improv Games' theatre camp with Kara Rose (August 27 - August 29) - In this fun and engaging theatre camp, kids will learn the basics of improv and acting with Kara Rose.
