We have created our own Art Trading Card group at The NIC. We meet monthly on the 4th Tuesday from 5:30-7:30. Cards are created and traded one for one. (Take a card, leave a card) All supplies are provided. This is a FREE event for members. $5 each for not yet members. $10 per family not yet members. Come create with us! Feel free to bring snacks. About Art Trading Cards:
Artist trading cards (ATCs) is a conceptual art project initiated by the Swiss artist M. Vänçi Stirnemann in 1997. He called it a Collaborative Cultural Performance. Artist trading cards are 2.5 by 3.5 inches in size, the same format as modern trading cards (hockey cards or baseball cards) or playing cards. They are self-made unique works or small series, signed and dated on the reverse by the artist/producer, exchanged and collected by the people who participate in the collaboration.
