About this Event
The HAWI Collective teams up with The Batz Collection for the third edition of their ongoing exhibition series. After Leuchtkrapfen and Leuchtfisch, the project continues with ART TO GO: A Pizza Party, taking place on February 5th, at The Social Hub Vienna in the Nordbahnviertel, 1020 Vienna.
This edition is all about art you can take with you. Inspired by the logic of pizza - affordable, shareable, and loved by almost everyone - Art To Go presents original artworks painted on pizza-shaped canvases. Each piece is one of a kind, playful in spirit, and intentionally accessible, blurring the line between artwork, object, and everyday culture.
The exhibition brings together the artists of the HAWI Collective in dialogue with The Batz Collection, celebrating visual experimentation, humor, and hands-on creativity. Art here is not distant or precious - it’s immediate, approachable, and meant to be enjoyed.
Adding to the fun, ART TO GO: A Pizza Party includes an interactive treasure hunt that invites visitors to explore the space, discover hidden details, and engage with the artworks in unexpected ways. Looking closely is part of the game.
Dreamt up by Pipin, Mr. Agua, and Katrin-Sophie Batz / The Batz Collection, the collaboration members continue their shared goal of creating open, social formats that bring contemporary art into everyday life - easy to access, easy to love, and best enjoyed together.
