Art Thrives invites participants ages 55 and above to an eight-week ceramics and wire art course where they will learn about the meaning of materiality in artistic practice, as well as about the artwork of Hayward Oubre. Along with a guided tour of the exhibition "Hayward Oubre: Structural Integrity," participants will explore artwork across NOMA’s galleries and engage in meaningful conversations about their own artistic practices, Oubre’s work, and other artists’ work.Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions, as the content will build on creating a comprehensive piece.
